Find the digraphs  <ai>, <a_e>, <ay> in a set of words.

Introduction

Let’s revise the 5 vowel letters their short /a,e,i,o,u/

long  /ai, ee, ie, oa, ue/ sounds.

Now we will will revise alternative (different) spellings for the long vowel sounds.

Copy the table into your literacy book and fill with some of your own words.

The /ai/ sound can also be written using <ei> and <eigh>
