Together Everyone Achieves More. Journey to Learning
🕊️Confirmation🕊️
Congratulations to the Year 7 pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation today at St. Patrick’s Church. We loved gathering together again as a Parish community to celebrate this important milestone. Our thanks to Monsignor Delargy and Fr McGuckien for a beautiful service.
Today could not have been such a success without the support of many people, we thank you so much:
✨Mary, Elaina, Fintan and the PTA for the wonderful refreshments in the Hall afterwards.
✨Roisin Doherty for her continued work in preparing the children for Sacraments.
✨Margaret and the Parish Choir for their lovely musical accompaniment to the service.
✨Mr Quinn, Miss Kerr, Mr Dinsmore, Elaina, Jacqui and Cara for preparing the children for today and for their work behind the scenes.
✨The pupils who made us all so proud today!
Thank you all!
🙏🏻 Sacramental Retreat 🙏🏻
Children in Year 3 and 4 had a lovely day at their Sacramental Retreat, delivered by Living Church Down and Connor. This allowed Year 4 to reflect on their Holy Communion, whilst helping Year 3 to prepare for their own next year.
The children had an enjoyable time completing a range of craft activities, drama and reflection.
A huge thank you to our fantastic retreat leaders Grace and Martina.
🌟Karol Crawley Cup Finalists 2023🌟
We are so incredibly proud of our two football teams who took part in the Annual Portrush Schools Cup in memory of Karol Crawley today.
In the ‘A’ section, the team went on a 7 game unbeaten run, winning 5 and drawing 2, before missing out in a penalty shootout in the final.
We were so pleased to see so many of our school community come out to support, including the youngest pupils in the school who backed their team throughout. Our thanks also to the past pupils and parents for their vocal support. The ice lolly delivery from one parent was much appreciated in that weather!
The boys and girls have been working throughout the year on improving their footballing skills and were delighted to be able to show the progress they have made today.
Well done to all those involved on a fantastic display.
Thanks to Jason Quigley for the organisation of today’s tournament and thank you to The Quays for providing refreshments for all of the children taking part.
Well done to all the boys and girls in P1/2 who took part in World Book Day. The children enjoyed talking about their favourite books and characters and taking part in a range of reading activities.
Well done to Mr Quinn who planned a very successful ECO Day, culminating with a sponsored walk on our very own East Strand Beach and an Ice Cream treat for all provided by our wonderful PTA.
Special thanks to our special guests

A very special welcome to our new pupils Saoirse and Sofia who joined St Patricks this week. Well done Mrs Turner and Wenda and especially to all the children for extending so much kindness and support. So proud of you all.
Elfridges
Thank you for all your generous donations.
We had gifts priced from 20p. Therefore, in order to allow every child to purchase at least one gift, we ask that children do not bring any more than £5.
How does it work?
1. Children went up to the hall to go Christmas shopping for their gifts.
2. Children picked their gifts and wrap them, with the help of staff and P.7 pupils.
3. Children brought gifts home, to be placed under the tree, ready for a big surprise on Christmas
Thank you for your support.
Congratulations to our Stars of the Week last week! A big well done to our Halloween Raffle winner too, thank you for your support of this School Council Fundraiser.
Pupils from St Patricks and Ballytober had a wonderful craft experience thanks to local artist Fiona Shannon. The pupils made clay lanterns together at St Patricks, and the results were amazing. The pupils also got to spend time at Portrush Library and play a variety of sports activities.
