Congratulations for personal achievement to this super P2 Judo Champion. She was awarded a medal at Coleraine Judo Club on Friday for working hard during class. She certainly is very impressed with her lovely medal 😊
P7 have planned two exciting fundraising activities for over the next couple of weeks, in an effort to raise funds for fun P7 leavers events that they hope to partake in before the end of their final term in primary school.
The first event is a bun sale which is happening on the morning of Friday 17th June. P7 pupils and staff have decided to bake or provide buns/baked goods to be sold to all pupils and staff on this day. Buns will be priced between 50p and £1, and there will be some special offers in place aswell. All buns will be nut free and there will be a selection of gluten free buns available.
Well done to this pupil who won the 'Summer Fun' fundraising raffle, which was held in aid of our upcoming P7 Leavers' Fun Day. The winning number was 71.
P7 are so grateful for your support so far and they look forward to your support tomorrow at their bun sale.
Thank you to the many local businesses who supported us by providing prizes for the raffle, including:
Kelly's
The White House
Ground
Costello's
Maxol Garage
Phil's Amusements
McDonald's
Thank you!
‘Reading to dogs has been proven to help children develop literacy skills and build confidence, through both the calming effect the presence of dogs has on children and due to the fact that the dog will listen to the children read without interruption’. 📖
As part of our extended Literacy provision, our specialist Literacy teacher, Mrs Doherty, provided children with a unique outdoor experience, reading stories to the delightful ‘Mac’. 🐶
Such a popular visitor to our school, for enhanced well-being and self-esteem. Can you guess which stories he enjoyed the most? 🦮
A fab day today!
Congratulations to all of the children on their incredible visit today to Stormont. Their active listening and thought provoking questions made today such a success. A big thank you from me to all of them for representing the school brilliantly, which was commented on by many political representatives and staff at Stormont.
The P.7 children are organising a 'Summer Fun' raffle, which includes everything you need to have a fun summer break, including vouchers from some local (and slightly further afield) businesses. P7 pupils have created a grid with 140 numbers- each number costs £1 and the winning number will be drawn when the grid is completely full. If you wish to purchase any numbers, please send money into school in a clearly marked envelope.
P7 are adamant that they deserve some really fun activities to end their primary school careers, and we couldn't agree more! We appreciate your support in these events and look forward to celebrating P7 before the move to their new schools.
🏉FIRST OUTING FOR ST.PATRICK’S RUGBY TEAM🌟
Congratulations to everyone who travelled to Dalriada today to take part in a tag rugby tournament! For many in the team, it was their first time playing tag rugby and they represented the school brilliantly throughout the afternoon. We look forward to developing Rugby within the school in the future and can’t wait to get back on the pitch again!
Thank you to Dalriada for the organisation of today’s event, to Mr Carey at Dominican College for providing transport to and from the competition, and to Mr Quinn for preparing and organising our school team!
